Accessibility statement

We want everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to learn about A to Z and get in touch with us.

Our standard

We design and test this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard used to assess website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks, a logical heading order, and a skip link to the main content.
  • Every feature works with a keyboard alone, with a focus ring that stays visible on every background.
  • Text and interface colors meet WCAG contrast ratios, and nothing relies on color alone.
  • Pages reflow to a 320 px wide screen and to 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animations respect your system's reduced-motion setting, and the animated demo at the top of the home page has a pause button.
  • Images have text alternatives; screenshots of the app describe what the screen shows.
  • Form fields have visible labels, required fields are explained, and errors are announced.

How we test

Each release is checked with automated testing (axe-core, covering WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 A and AA rules) and with scripted checks for keyboard order, focus visibility, reflow, text spacing, target size, and motion. We also review pages by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader.

Known limitations

  • Product screenshots show the app's interface as images. Each one has a text description, and the same information is in the surrounding text.
  • The optional content editor at /admin/ is a third-party tool used only by our team.
